I am currently on page 163. The book has taken many turn of events. I really feel for the rough childhood that Kedis endured from when his parents had split up when he was young. To have a druggy for a father would have been hard to live with. The thing that was really hard for Kedis would have been when he had to move from place to place with his mother before deciding to live with his father. Once he lived with his father for a bit I didn’t know if he was going to make any real friends but he did make one or two. I always wondered how the band members met and the first band member he met and the only original band member to this day is Flea. I thought that they would have been best friends as soon as they met but instead Anthony and Flea almost fought. Once Kedis and Flea got together they started playing instruments this was the start to they music career. I also wondered how they ever came up with the name Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The way they came up with it was from all different types of band names put together from the old folk to the blues. I do not know how Kedis came to be the man that he did. Through the childhood and the amount of drugs he took in life.

I wonder if the Red Hot Chilli Peppers broke up ever and if they did how many times. I wonder if Anthony will settle down with one women. I wonder how they got there act straight and how they will all get off of the drugs.

New Book

I have just recently started reading the award winning book Scar Tissue. Scar Tissue is about Anthony Kedis the lead singer to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This book is a biography on struggles that Anthony endured. This book looks so good just by the cover with Anthony looking a bit out of it with the hit RCHP song Scar Tissue. This is a paper back book that is fairly big with about 465 pages. This seems like my kind of book because of the fact that I love music and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band. The reason i had chose this book was because my brother had just finished reading it and he said it was the best book he had ever read. Also on the cover it says that it had one the New York Times best seller list. Everyone who knows Kedis knows that he had a really bad drug problem and so has the band. I am really interested to see how he came over the harsh drug life and just bee about the music.

I would like to know where the name Red Hot Chili Peppers Came from? Where they have all met? how did some of the band members die? where they all got there song inspiration? And how long it took them to make it big?

Post 4

I have just finished the book King James and think that it was a good book not great though. This book got boring, and times loose track of what I was reading about because it would change the main idea so many times. They would be talking about Lebron and then get side tracked and talk about someone else and then would come back to Lebron and would have forgot about what the book was talking about. The good thing about the book was how in much depth it would go in to the game of basketball, like when they would talk about the games he would be playing in and the feelings that he would get before, during and after the game. Being a basketball player myself you could really relate on what he was feeling. I also liked how much they would say how hard it is to do the game of basketball stressing on how much practice that James had to get where he is and that nothing that he got came easy. This book had a message of never giving up on your dream and always do what you want no matter where you are from. This book poses a lot of questions at the end like whether Lebron would stay with his home NBA team Cleveland or would he want to be traded and try something new. I did like this book and wonder if they will do a part two of it ten years from now.

Post 3

I currently am at page 120 this book has now taken a turn from the cover. Lebron is now showing that he is a genuine guy and is not the cocky kid he portrays to be on the cover of the book. Although he is gifted in his ability he did work hard to get his success and to get where he is today. Lebron sponsor was just decided Nike won the battle signing him 90 million dollar contract. This shows that he will never have money trouble again. I used to not give Lebron a lot of credit because I thought he just wanted to be greater that the Michael Jordan but Lebron is trying to make a own name for himself and become a superstar and his own legend. So far in the book it talks about James coaches and camps he went to and the drills they had him do. James spends alot of time traveling the country going to these camps and charity events. The most recent camp he just got back from was the EA sports high school challenge. This camp only had a selected few high school students play in it.

The book still does not answer hot Lebron picked basketball over football it clearly shows how in previous chapters that if he would of stuck with it he would of had a very promising career in that to winning offensive MVP.
