Final Post

I have just finished the book Scar Tissue. This by far is the best book that I have ever read. This is the types of books that I could see my self reading in my own time it was a great read and it did teach me a lot. this book had me sucked in from start to finish and I could not put it down it really open my eyes about my own life. The book taught me about how take the right decisions in life and never give up on your dreams no matter what happens. I believe that this book will make me pick up a book and read more because it paints a way better picture in your head. It is better than T.V and video games. It showed me that if you find a book that you truly enjoy and you want to read it it can be fun and be a great past time. I never thought I could ever really like a book but it did happen this year and I am glad I read it because it wasn't just fun but it gave me so much more knowledge about a persons life because just watching it on T.V isn't the same. I give this book 2 thumbs up because it was just that good.

I am now almost done the book. The book is now giving me a new prospective on the relationship between men and women and how it hurt the people so very bad. Anthony for the whole book has been hurting women and now I think he has finally came to his sense and is now going to start treating them better. Anthony would just use them when he was a kid, and was young and foolish he even made songs about them. I think now he realizes that women are not just objects. His album Blood Sex Magic has just came out. This is one of my favorite albums because this album really seems like it is coming from his heart and it kinda is a story about his life. Each and every song on his albums has a meaning to it about his life. This book is starting to teach me life lessons and what road not to follow because you could ruin your life.

So far Anthony has tried to kick this habit countless times and it is just not working. This book is starting to take a different turn because now he trying to talk about how he should live his life for every moment and how he regrets starting them in the first place. He still wants to make it big though in the his music and I can respect that because the man is not giving up his dream and is the in one of the greatest bands ever. Anthony never stops believing in his dream of being a rock star even though his odds of becoming a rock star is slim his first couple albums are doing O.k but i think that his next one that will be the one that lays the ground for his fame and career. I do not know how this man can keep going after he has all been through he has to be one of my greatest idols to never give up his dreams under any circumstances.

I am currently on page 330 Anthony is trying to kick the habit of heroin and cocaine. I do not think that this will last to long because you can not just kick that drug habit when you want. I believe that drugs are not a addiction but a disease a disease that one can choose to have. The person may not want to have this long term but they are consumed by the disease. I have a feeling that Anthony quitting the habit on the first time is not really going to happen. I also don't believe that you can just up and quit any drug. The drug one way or another is apart of you for the rest of your life whether its the crave for it or the memories that you had when doing it. The only way that Anthony will quit is if he gets out of the environment that he is in. The rock star life style. All the partying he is around is not good and the fact that his other band members still do drugs.

I wonder if Anthony will just be done drugs. I would also like to know how he will manage to keep the band going if he is trying to kick drugs and still try and keep his band still alive and when will they ever make it big. I would like to know when the guitarist John Frusciante comes to the band if has done any of the drugs that the rest of the band members have done.

I am currently on page 240 0n and there gutiarest Hillel has just died from a drug over dose. This just shows that all of the partying that this band has endured has finally caught up to them. Maybe now the band will stop with all the drugs and partying. I think that this will smarten the band up and they will be about the music. The drugs are what is holding the sucsess of the band back. Hillel death could have been a good thing for the band because they will learn from his mistakes and will become one of the best bands in the world.

I am starting to realize why Anthony Kedis wrote this book. This is just to teach the kids of today that you do not have to be a stoner or a drugy to be cool. The way that he words this book is a way that he is trying teach the reader what not to do. He usually talks about his past a dumb desisions that he regrets.

I am currently on page 210 and the band has just started to tour and try to get there band out there. After reading only half the book so far it makes me wonder how a band into so much drugs can make it big like the Red Hot Chili Peppers did. At this point in the book it makes me feel like Anthony would choose his drugs over his band and music. I imagine that just having one person into drugs in a band would be tough but having all of them would be the hardest. If I did not know anything about the RHCP this would make me think that Anthony will never give up drugs and will never be the star that he wants and will just die from the drugs. Not only is the drugs destroying the band but this is hurting all of Anthony relationships from his mother and father to his girlfriends from the past ones that he had to the present. The reason that i really like this book is the fact that it just shows the real world and the damage that drugs can cause and it makes you wonder if you ever start can you stop?

I am currently on page 163. The book has taken many turn of events. I really feel for the rough childhood that Kedis endured from when his parents had split up when he was young. To have a druggy for a father would have been hard to live with. The thing that was really hard for Kedis would have been when he had to move from place to place with his mother before deciding to live with his father. Once he lived with his father for a bit I didn’t know if he was going to make any real friends but he did make one or two. I always wondered how the band members met and the first band member he met and the only original band member to this day is Flea. I thought that they would have been best friends as soon as they met but instead Anthony and Flea almost fought. Once Kedis and Flea got together they started playing instruments this was the start to they music career. I also wondered how they ever came up with the name Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The way they came up with it was from all different types of band names put together from the old folk to the blues. I do not know how Kedis came to be the man that he did. Through the childhood and the amount of drugs he took in life.

I wonder if the Red Hot Chilli Peppers broke up ever and if they did how many times. I wonder if Anthony will settle down with one women. I wonder how they got there act straight and how they will all get off of the drugs.

New Book

I have just recently started reading the award winning book Scar Tissue. Scar Tissue is about Anthony Kedis the lead singer to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This book is a biography on struggles that Anthony endured. This book looks so good just by the cover with Anthony looking a bit out of it with the hit RCHP song Scar Tissue. This is a paper back book that is fairly big with about 465 pages. This seems like my kind of book because of the fact that I love music and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band. The reason i had chose this book was because my brother had just finished reading it and he said it was the best book he had ever read. Also on the cover it says that it had one the New York Times best seller list. Everyone who knows Kedis knows that he had a really bad drug problem and so has the band. I am really interested to see how he came over the harsh drug life and just bee about the music.

I would like to know where the name Red Hot Chili Peppers Came from? Where they have all met? how did some of the band members die? where they all got there song inspiration? And how long it took them to make it big?

I have just finished the book King James and think that it was a good book not great though. This book got boring, and times loose track of what I was reading about because it would change the main idea so many times. They would be talking about Lebron and then get side tracked and talk about someone else and then would come back to Lebron and would have forgot about what the book was talking about. The good thing about the book was how in much depth it would go in to the game of basketball, like when they would talk about the games he would be playing in and the feelings that he would get before, during and after the game. Being a basketball player myself you could really relate on what he was feeling. I also liked how much they would say how hard it is to do the game of basketball stressing on how much practice that James had to get where he is and that nothing that he got came easy. This book had a message of never giving up on your dream and always do what you want no matter where you are from. This book poses a lot of questions at the end like whether Lebron would stay with his home NBA team Cleveland or would he want to be traded and try something new. I did like this book and wonder if they will do a part two of it ten years from now.

I currently am at page 120 this book has now taken a turn from the cover. Lebron is now showing that he is a genuine guy and is not the cocky kid he portrays to be on the cover of the book. Although he is gifted in his ability he did work hard to get his success and to get where he is today. Lebron sponsor was just decided Nike won the battle signing him 90 million dollar contract. This shows that he will never have money trouble again. I used to not give Lebron a lot of credit because I thought he just wanted to be greater that the Michael Jordan but Lebron is trying to make a own name for himself and become a superstar and his own legend. So far in the book it talks about James coaches and camps he went to and the drills they had him do. James spends alot of time traveling the country going to these camps and charity events. The most recent camp he just got back from was the EA sports high school challenge. This camp only had a selected few high school students play in it.

The book still does not answer hot Lebron picked basketball over football it clearly shows how in previous chapters that if he would of stuck with it he would of had a very promising career in that to winning offensive MVP.

2nd

I have first started reading on February 8th and currently on page 50 and so far interested in the book. It is my type of book its real and its about basketball but this also takes the part of an original child growing with nothing and making something of himself I see my self reading more books about reality its really fun to relate. I wonder how Lebron gets signed and how did he decides which one to pick. I wonder how much training he puts in everyday and if he was always committed to basketball and if he had any other sports. I think that Lebron feels great in the way that he knows if he stays with the sport and works hard. When I read at first I saw just another basketball kid trying to make it big and go to the NBA, but after you read and find what he is about you see that Lebron was ment to play basketball and do well if he put his mind to it. When I read that his highschool coach former NCAA basketball coach goes on and on about how good he is you just know he is the real deal.

Today I just started my book. The book I am reading is called King James Believe the Hype. This book is about the super basketball star LeBron James. The reason I chose this book was because of the Lebron James. The cover says a lot even though there isn’t a lot on it. The cover shows James standing with his arms crossed in a cocky manner wearing chains and looking at you. The facial expression is him having the whole world beneath him.
